Our friend John Butterworth from Cowra made the trip to Bathurst during the week to attend the mens dinner at Bathurst RSL with former Deputy PM John Anderson as its guest speaker. And he came away very impressed...as mentioned in his email to me "Many thanks again for passing on the invitation to the Bathurst Men’s Dinner. I took one friend with me from Cowra and I would have to say that John Anderson delivered what I would regard as one of the finest talks to men that I have ever heard. John has agreed to consider a trip to Cowra at some time in the future. I really hope and pray that he will actually come. There were about 37 men there to hear John on Thursday and it is a pity there were not more – then again the venue was full up."
Hoping that John Anderson does agree to return to our region.
